LEARNING DIMENSION

Participants in this workshop will use tools like photography and storytelling in order to gradually discover and picture the local identity of the rural community, while also being guided toward reconnecting with their own roots and sharing this connection with the others.They will be involved in a discovery learning process that will reveal to them the power of image and imagination and guide them toward the idea of using storytelling (both verbal and non-verbal) as a tool for rural regeneration.

During the 10 days of the workshop we will propose to the participants group building activities and creativity exercises, as well as exploring the community and the surrounding space in order to raise their awareness concerning the importance of rural heritage.

The LEARNING STRATEGY will be based on:

  • games
  • physical movement
  • exploring the surrounding space
  • observation
  • photography
  • interaction (with each other and the community)
  • storytelling
  • dramatisation – small performances based on improvisation and spontaneity; contributes to storytelling, helps break the language barrier;
  • discussion
  • introspection

A Certificate of participation will be issued to all Workshop participants.
